Between sexy illustrations (until the dictatorship was over, and spicy photographs increased their presence) its pages were filled with stories, short narratives, spicy tales, condom ads… And also sports, literature, artists, movie stars, society stories and love affairs!
“However, at the same time as high culture, a popular culture flourished during the Silver Age that with irreverent cheekiness produced erotic materials in huge quantities. And many of these erotic materials contributed to show, without any concealment, the feminine face, and many times feminist, as well as the gay and challengingly ambiguous face of that first third of the 20th century in Spain”
